Welcome to my pottery passion. Thank you for being here.

I absolutely love creating a unique, warm, and inviting atmosphere in my studio for hosting pottery workshops where we can all create until our hearts are exploding with love, groundedness, and equanimity.

I am currently taking a short break while I build a new, permanent workshop in my backyard in Kewdale.

I am hoping to have it finished and ready to welcome everyone back with a fresh new vibe early in 2025.

Please do meander through the workshop pages below and keep an eye out for updates on my Instagram page @alexraehome

If you have any questions or queries, please get in touch.

Thank you, it means the world to me that you’re here. I look forward to meeting you soon.

Gas kiln-fired Pottery & Classes in Perth, Western Australia

Unique, handmade pottery homewares and classes by local Artist, Alex Rae.

Building a warm, connected community with Pottery Club from inside the Carlisle Collective.

Alex the Pottery Artist

I have been fascinated with the beautiful process of making pottery by hand for over five years, and finally made the leap to turn my passion into a full-time business in early 2023.

Unlike most other potters, I use a gas kiln (rather than an electric one) because this creates truly unique pieces where no single one is the same as any other.

I love sharing this therapeutic and rewarding art with others and seeing the calm, delight, and sense of community that we enjoy in our regular Pottery Club sessions.
